The Alliance of American Football (AAF) announced Wednesday that it is coming to San Antonio.
The spring football league will play in the Alamodome.
A press conference is scheduled for Thursday at the San Antonio city hall.
Early media reports indicate former San Antonio World League coach Mike Riley will be the head coach. Riley was the head coach at Nebraska the last two seasons. Riley is also a former head coach at Oregon State, the then-San Diego Chargers and in the Canadian Football League.
Daryl “Moose” Johnston is expected to be named San Antonio’s general manager. The former Dallas Cowboys fullback was working for FOX as an NFL analyst.
