The San Diego Fleet looked like they were building a momentum-changing drive in the second quarter.

The San Antonio Commanders held a 3-0 lead. The Fleet moved 44 yards and six plays. Starting quarterback Mike Bercovici threw a pass that was headed for the end zone.

Commanders defensive back Orion Stewart went high to snare the pass at the 1-yard line. Stewart not only foiled the Fleet’s drive, but returned the ball 68 yards.

The return set up the Commanders’ second field goal of the night as San Antonio took a 6-0 lead.
